How to Get a Head Without Hunting
Hamadryas Baboon Head Sculpture
A true conversation piece in any room’s decor, and he is a good listener.

Our Hamadryas baboon is built over a handmade mixed media base. Our artist Merikay makes his face using a peach velvet with airbrushed accents, and surrounds it with man-made furs. We think the handmade eyes make him seem alert and knowing.

A California couple commissioned our first baboon and first maiasaura, based on the nicknames of their two teen-agers. Merikay always enjoys adding new creatures to her collection.
