“Love it - my husband to be wants a deer head but not a real one! These are perfect. Thanks for giving us the option without hurting the animals!”

How to Get a Head Without Hunting
Deer Head Sculpture
Even hunters will smile when one of our deer head sculptures joins your family.

Handcrafted with a downy-soft fake fur over an original paper-maché base, our deer head sculpture can bring a classic trophy look to your home, office, or vacation retreat, without the negatives associated with the real thing.

Our artist Merikay makes the big brown “Bambi” eyes, realistic nose, and antlers using a unique combination of materials and methods that she has developed over the years.

About Deer
The overall Deer family includes Moose and Elk/Wapiti, and inhabits North and South America, Europe, and Asia. At least some deer species seem to be adapting well to a human-dominated environment: an article in the San Jose Mercury News said that there are now more deer in California’s Santa Cruz mountains (where we live) than there were before the western expansion of the USA. They stroll by at all hours!
If you have comments, suggestions, or questions, please send an E-mail to merikay@animalhead.com, use the contact page, sign the Guestbook, or call at 1-408-353-5037. Is this a good time?
