“Absolutely wonderful artwork! We are redecorating my sons’ room and will purchase one of your creations. It was fun to search through all the fabulous pieces!”

How to Get a Head Without Hunting
Four kinds of dragons have appeared in our artist merikay’s studio since the Loma Prieta earthquake of 1989, the epicenter of which was about six miles from our home. Perhaps all of the shaking opened a passage by which such creatures can come to our world.

Each of our dragons is an original, unique sculpture. The available images are a small sample of Merikay’s work. For more about how they’re made, see our How They’re Made section.

The images below don’t reflect the relative sizes of the sculptures. Click on an underlined link, or on one of the pictures, to see the page for that kind of dragon.

If you have comments, suggestions, or questions, please send an E-mail to merikay@animalhead.com, use the contact page, sign the Guestbook, or call at 1-408-353-5037. Is this a good time?
