How to Get a Head Without Hunting
Flamingo Head Sculpture
Add a playful accent to your room’s decor with our flamboyant flamingo sculpture.

New!New for November 2008 is our Pink Flamingo. Our artist Merikay covers its head and neck with a textured fabric. She hand-paints the overlaid body feathers, the bright eyes and the hand made beak.

This pretty pink flamingo was created for a children’s area at a church in Texas. We only have enough of the fabric used for its head and neck to make a few more. As with all of our creatures, our artist Merikay hand-makes the lightweight supporting sculpture and eyes.

About Flamingos
Flamingos live in scattered watery places around the world, and have been imported into North America. Their color varies from a light pink to deep red-orange, depending on their diet and health. They have long legs and feed on the bottoms of shallow lakes and estuaries, holding their heads upside down and filtering their food from the water.
If you have comments, suggestions, or questions, please send an E-mail to merikay@animalhead.com, use the contact page, sign the Guestbook, or call at 1-408-353-5037. Is this a good time?
