“Have bought your goodies for many years. I believe my sister has about 8 of your heads. She loves them. Our favorite is the raccoon that “lives” in the tree.”

How to Get a Head Without Hunting
Raccoon Head Sculpture
This raccoon sculpture is an ideal gift for the cabin owner who has everything.

Our artist Merikay builds the raccoon sculpture similarly to our other creatures, using mad-made furs over a handmade form. She creates his little hands (hard to see on this picture) using polymer clay.

She also hand makes his rather realistic hollow tree (before the raccoon moves in).

Order one for yourself or a friend or relative. It’s a special creature!

About Raccoons
Raccoons live in North and South America. They are mischievous animals, notorious as crop marauders, garbage bandits, and escape artists. Young ones can be fascinating, but their curiosity, destructiveness, and sneaky nature make them poor choices as pets.
If you have comments, suggestions, or questions, please send an E-mail to merikay@animalhead.com, use the contact page, sign the Guestbook, or call at 1-408-353-5037. Is this a good time?
